Ruusa Shipiki
Chief Ethical Officer & Founder
Ruusa Shipiki holds a BA Law Degree from the University of the Western Cape, an LLB from the University of Natal (Durban) and an International Executive Leadership Development Program from the University of the Witwatersrand.
Ms. Shipiki brings more than 25 years of Corporate Law and Corporate Governance experience across both the Private and Public sectors encompassing both regulatory and governmental realms. She has served on Community-Based and Non-Governmental Organizations such as the Red Cross and Namibia Networks of Aids Service Organizations (Nanaso).
In the Private Sector, She served on the Board of First Capital Treasury Solutions (FCTS), NAMPORT as Deputy Chairperson, Egling Brown & Hammer, Mobile Telecommunications (MTC) where she was Chairperson of the Social, Environment and Corporate Responsibility Committee. She is currently the Chairperson of Namibia Infrastructure Development Investment Fund (NIDIF), a subsidiary of EOS Capital.
Ruusa has served as a non-executive director and a former Executive: Corporate Governance at the Namibia Statistics Agency, where she is responsible for guiding and advising the Board and Management on good Corporate Governance practices, Risk Management and Compliance among others.
Some of the courses and interest’s close to her heart is nature conservation, community upliftment, mentoring and coaching young professionals, digitalization and innovations.
